Miles Davis - So What: From his masterpiece "Kind Of Blue" with John Coltrane, this is jazz that everyone can appreciate!

Sam & Dave - Hold On, I'm Coming: This song & performance rocks on so many levels - cookin' on gas!

Thievery Corporation - Lebanese Blonde: Downtempo perfection from Washington DC. I saw them live up at Whistler a few summers back complete with belly dancers, different vocalists and a sitar player - they were one of the best live acts I've ever seen.

The Police - Can't Stand Losing You: Live at The Old Grey Whistle Test (02/10/78) great band, cool tune.

Wham! - I'm Your Man: You gotta love good old George Michael - this is pure pop perfection from one of the 80's finest bands.

Stevie Wonder - Superstition: One of my musical idols. I saw him perform a few years back and it was jaw dropping. Superstition is one of his greatest songs, check out this fantastic live performance on "Sesame Street" wow, how cool is this!

Cassius '99 - Filtered disco house from french act Cassius who were a little bit swept under the carpet at the time. This song came out when I was living in London, a great Donna Summer sample and I love the video!

The Clash - Train In Vain: From one of the best albums of all time "London Calling" this was a last minute addition to the album and not originally included in the track listing.

Duran Duran - Girls On Film: One of the first MTV era video bands. They were amazing in their hey day (and this video was once deemed too risque).

Tammy Wynette - Stand By Your Man: Classic country heartache.

AC/DC - Highway To Hell: Bon Scott R.I.P. - Heavy riff rock & roll does not get much better than this!

Mark Morrison - Return Of The Mack: 90's R&B & a UK #1, love this song!

Merle Haggard - Mama Tried: 100% country music and he sure does walk it like he talks it, a hard living, hard drinking son of a gun.

Bryan Adams - Summer Of 69: A song that never seems to age, you know all the words & it sounds great really loud!

The Stone Roses - Fools Gold: From one of my dessert island albums, straight outta Manchester - too cool for school.

2 Pac & Dr. Dre - California Love: This Dr. Dre party down production is a gem from the summer of '96.

The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles): I've heard these guys are amazing live and after watching this video I can see why, love this song.

The Emotions - Best Of My Love: This is a song that you will often hear me play - it's perfect! Written by Maurice White & Al McKay of Earth, Wind & Fire it always signals that the party is about to start...

NYC Beat - Armand Van Helden: one of the true pioneers of house music, I used this upbeat song for a recent fashion show.

James Brown - Superbad: Godfather of Soul, a little cliche but it really can't be disputed - he really is...

Alex Barattini - Stay Tonight: A cool little house tune I discovered about a year ago that I throw into my house music sets.

Jamiroquai - Cosmic Girl: Love him or loathe him, Jay Kay has certainly given us some fantastic shimmery disco funk pop.

Mylo - Drop The Pressure: When the party is rockin' and the crowd want an upbeat dance beat, this is the song that gets 'em going.

Aretha Frankin - Respect: Oh la la, a stone cold classic!

Elton John - Rocket Man: My wife loves this song, her dad loves this song, her brother loves this song, I bet you also love this song.

Madonna - Celebration: What else can you say about this lady that hasn't already been said - her latest dancefloor smash from her Greatest Hits package.

Dazz - Let It Whip: Soul Train dance off - I'm speechless, I would love to see moves like this on the dance floor, too many to mention but I personally like the "Necktie Noose" at 1:20. Enjoy!

Ratt - Round And Round: 80's guilty pleasure : (

RJD2 - 1976: A hugely played funky tune on my Rainbow Groove radio show!

Q-Tip - Gettin' Up: One of the originators of that NYC jazzy hip hop sound I love so much...

LL Cool J - I'm Bad: Big chains, big muscles, big beats.

The Jam - A Town Called Malice: The Modfather, Paul Weller & Co. lay down a seriously Motown sounding track, still sounds great.

Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears - Sugarfoot: I just heard this on the radio and it definitely got me feeling funky - brand new tune, check it out!

Rihanna - Rude Boy: Rihanna gets back on good form with this great new track!
