Grouse Mountain, Vancouver Wedding DJ

Blog by | May 26th, 2011

An amazing wedding up on Grouse Mountain on Saturday, thanks so much for having me Sara & Jeff - I really had a great time! It started off as the most foggy day I've ever seen in Vancouver and up on the mountain you could barely see a thing but it actually added to the mystic/romance of the day with the mist all around the mountains. When I showed up, who should be the officiate other than Brent Sheppard, who I seem to run into every other wedding these days. The photographers were Nicole & Kristina from CITRA Photography - look forward to seeing the pics! It was such a rockin' party, so glad I could be a part of it (testimonial below)....

"DJ BFAD came highly recommended to us by my Maid of Honour. She knows him from the many parties that he has DJ'd at the Jericho Tennis Club. I had the opportunity to attend 2 parties that he was DJ'ing and I was blown away by how successful he was at getting a varied mix of guests on the dance floor all night. He was hired immediately! Once we booked him for our wedding, he was very easy to work with and was super informative about song choice suggestions and providing other helpful tips. He was patient with my many questions and my DO NOT PLAY and MUST PLAY song choices. At the wedding, he pulled off the ceremony music without a hitch. He was also helpful with setting up the sound for our slideshow. After our first dance, the dance floor was open to everyone and they did not stop dancing until the last gondola down the mountain. Brent has a gift for reading the crowd and catering his song choices to what our guests were in the mood to dancing to, which happened to include Dr. Dre and a little taste of Metallica! All of our guests commented on how great our DJ was and how much they enjoyed dancing the night away at our wedding. We wouldn't have changed a thing and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Brent, from us, and from all of our guests who's feet were sore the next day!"
